An award-winning industrial designer, architect, and project leader, Stephen has led product design projects and teams in the hospitality, medical, consumer health, consumer electronics, transportation, and retail industries.

Through his current consultancy and previous 8 years as a Principal Industrial Design Lead at IDEO in Palo Alto, Shanghai, Munich, Austin and Tokyo, Stephen has created products and solutions for clients such as The Dorchester Collection, Air New Zealand, Medtronic, Clark Realty, Stanford Hospital, Philips, Johnson & Johnson, Eli Lilly, Dell Medical School, and Samsung as well as numerous startups in Silicon Valley.

Stephen holds over a dozen patents, many as primary inventor. His work has garnered numerous design awards including two Red Dot Awards and the IDEA gold, silver, and bronze awards.
